"Kick Off the Giving Season" Annual Blood Drive
Our annual blood drive has passed, however, there continues to be a critical need for all blood types, especially during winter holidays and the summer. Please visit the Red Cross Blood website to find a drive near you. Appointments are strongly recommended.

Blood Facts (from the American Red Cross)

  • Every two seconds someone in the United States needs blood.
  • More than 38,000 blood donations are needed every day.
  • One out of every 10 people admitted to a hospital needs blood.
  • Approximately 38% of the U.S. population is eligible to give blood but only 5% do in a given year.
  • Blood cannot be manufactured - it can only come from generous donors.
  • The #1 reason donors say they give blood is because they "want to help others."
